Dynamic and Static Characters

Characters in stories may change as the events occur. Some change very little, but others are transformed over the course of the story.

*Static Characters do not change in attitude or beliefs as the story happens. These characters may be weak and only support the story.

*Dynamic Characters experience big changes throughout the plot of a story. It may occur slowly or suddenly, but the change is part of the foundation of the story.
